Christmas is my favorite holiday, I enjoy everything about it, family gatherings, buying gifts for loved one's, baking cookies, wrapping presents, and I love decorating my tree. Hey Debbiemarie, I used to live in Mission Viejo many years ago, with my parents, when it was first built. First brand new home my parents ever bought.

My favorite part of this Christmas was when DH said I could pick my gift from him since he is recovering from a bad fall in the snow, and shopping may not happen before Christmas. (He was trying to be a hero and help the neighbor get his car out of the snow and landed on his right hip. Now he has a big bruise that goes from waist to knee on his right backside that is purple. (He hit hard! Poor Sweety)
We are pretty broke this year, so I was looking for something I really wanted for not much money. I was able to find a movie I have been wanting forever, and found it for .71 on Amazon. With postage and handling, it came to $2.40! Won't DH be surprised after Christmas when I show him how much he spent! My gift from DH is a copy of "Queen/ Champions of the World". He has amazing taste doesn't he? Lol!

This is a very special Christmas for us! My Sailor and his family (babies are almost 2 and 3) will be here. This is the first Christmas we get to spend with the babies and Santa already dropped off his loot! Also, my daughter is getting married on Dec 22. So with the exception of one grandson (who lives with his mom up north), my entire family will be together, including my mom and brothers and a new SIL whom we absolutely love. What more could I ask for and who knows if and when we all be together again for Christmas.
    Merry Christmas to Everyone!!

My favorite part is the music. We have a radio station that plays it all day starting on Thanksgiving evening after the tree lighting downtown.
