Making gifts and baking goodies to share is near the top of the list. Getting together with loved ones and laughing and relaxing together. Time to recover from the frenetic pace of elementary school at this time of year (and to recover from supervising the whole grade making pine cone Christmas tree ornaments).

Celebrating my Savior's birth, and watching feel-good movies without violence or bad language. The look on someone's face when you give them exactly what they wanted, but didn't have to ask.

I'm going with January 2 as well! Call me Mrs. Scrooge, but people (up here at least) get crazy at this time of the year. Fighting in stores, nasty attitudes, general rudeness. I can do without all this, thank you. Give me January 2, please!

Debbiemarie, I used to live in Mission Viejo. Raised the kids there. I'm now in the high desert area near Palm Springs but have daughter, son-in-law, and granddaughter still there. Granddaughter is attending Small world!

I love the Christmas music. I just have to listen to Johnny Mathis every Christmas season. I also love that we celebrate the birth of Christ and remember that He was born to die for our sins.
