Whats your favorite type of Apple?

We LOVE Grimes - a very old heirloom apple. Not a good year for them around here though. Next would be the Honey Crisp - now selling them all over - used to be quite hard to find - but very expensive here.

Golden Delicous - they are so nice to eat and slices keep together when used in pies.
Don't think I've had Honey Crisp and will look for them at farm market that carries many different apples.
Years ago I used to get an apple at a local farm market that was a cross between an Macintosh and another firmer apple. I think they grew in the farm's orchard but the farm closed after the owner died and land was sold for building and the apple disappeared.
