    If you dip these leaves in wax and let dry, they will keep their color a lot longer.

    I love that picture. I paint in watercolor and my sister used to think I was nuts to go back to Indiana and pick up beautiful colored leaves. I used to save them until they dried up. I dipped them in something and covered with sand. Too old to remember what i dipped them in.LOL

    Reminds me of a friend who was camping & quilting. She had forgotten to take her quilt pattern with her so she picked a leaf and quilted the quilt with that pattern. Long before the days of machine quilting

    Gorgeous colour. Where I live in Sydney we do not get the richness of the autumn leaves that some of you ladies do.
