That is a very good point.....Management needs to be aware of that.......another big complaint I have is when "able bodied people park in the handicapped spot and use someone elses handcap hanger on their mirror. I see this all the time at Wal-Mart

Always in the cart return, if no back into the store. I took one back into Lowe's yesterday and they thanked me. I never take a handicap cart outside the store and if I see one in the parking lot, I always take it into the store.

Absolutely, either to the store or the cart rack. Most of our stores have cart racks in the parking lots, a few are smaller and do not, always return the cart and usually one or two more as lots just leave the cart sit.

YES! I'm sorry, but I think people that leave them in a random space are just lazy. Sorry, my opinion. And if you have a child, leave them in the cart, wheel it to the cart return, and carry the kid back.
If you're in a hurry and someone is walking past, ask them if they need a cart. I've done that many times when I see elderly people. I'll take their cart off their hands and use it in the store. They appreciate it.
