I used to buy jeans from Old Navy, but I'm getting a little bit older and it seems like their jeans are too fitted through the thigh and then too flared below the knee. I'm a plus-sized girl, so jeans are kind of tricky for me. Any idea where to get cute, age appropriate jeans for not a lot of money?

I really like the Gloria Vanderbuilt "Amanda" jeans. I've gotten them at Sears before. They come in a lot of colors and I am able to wear them to work.

Me too, I love the Amanda jeans. I wait for a good coupon before I buy them at Kohl's. I also find some decent jeans - must have coupon at Avenue. I'm a size 14/short woman. I don't want girls jeans.

I have a hard time finding jeans that I like. I like jeans that have a waist and don't fit four inches below my gut.
I have found a few pair that I really like at GoodWill. I fear that I will have them washed to threads and won't find anymore.
After that, I'm just going to wear my house coat.

My answer will not be too helpful for most, but I buy mine in the boys dept at Sears. Cheaper than the ladies' jeans, and I get what they call "kid vantage" points because they are children's

Lee has a great new waistband on their jeans and capri's for plus-size women. Love the capri's so much, went back and got some jeans and they are so comfortable to wear. Any Lee outlet has great prices on their jeans.
