Where do you stay on vacation?

It really depends on the vacation; We've tented w/ the Grands, rented condos/ homes, sometimes Hotels, sometimes Motels, we prefer a Kitchenette.. in 2 weeks we're staying in a little cabin in the woods.... no electricity, bring your own water, pit toilet... gettin' back to nature, ahhhhh.

We usually stay at home because we live next to Acadia National Park and it is beautiful here. If we do go to visit we usually stay with friends or family. We also have a camper we have taken to other state and national parks and such.

We just take our camper with us...rather cook my own food then eat at restaurants daily. You don't need water/elec hook up daily..so the cost can be as cheap as $13.00 a night, much much cheaper then hotels/motels..and no bed bug worries either.

What's a vacation? Being retired every day can be a vacation (or NOT - housework today!)
For us it depends on where and petsitter/pet status. If we can take the RV the kitties go with. If not then we can't leave for more than an overnight with this pair!
We did take Teddi (before Isla arrived) to a pet friendly rental house in Cape San Blaas but I sure wouldn't want to haul 2 cats in the truck now! Especially since Isla is a road singer :-)

We have a 32' fifth wheel trailer that we take on vacations to stay in. I hate sleeping in beds that other people sleep in, so my house on wheel is perfect. I also can cook all our meals and stay healthy with what we eat. What is fun is we can park it where ever we like and always have awesome veiws.
