My mom had a real sweet tooth. So she'd "hide" candy from herself... HUH? It was pretty funny!

You wrap the forbidden goodies in a paper towel, sneak through the living room, and if nobody sees you with the goodies, then YOU haven't eaten them! That's how it works in our house, anyway! LOL

When I was little, my mama used to keep a pack of Oreo cookies in the cabinet. One Sunday morning I got up really early and snuck in there and ate a bunch of cookies. Then my daddy gets up, gets wise to what I've done. When he asks if I've eaten cookies, of course I say no. What does he do? Asks to see my teeth! ROFL!!!

I always get the snack bug around 11:00 pm, so I try to sneak into the kitchen and nibble on anything I can get my hands on. Don't you know I almost always have to open a crinkly bag or knock something off the counter that ends up making such a racket!!! Of course I then try to sneak back to bed while everyone is rudely awakened and wondering what mom is eating this time! Lol!

I gave up trying to hide my sugar addiction. IF (ha!) the brownies, cookies, or whatever is gone, everyone nows who the guilty party is.

In all honestly, I have even less will power with cookies than I do buying fabric, and that's saying something. Cookie monsters of the world unite.

You know, why do we feel guilty? So what if we eat one brownie or 12? We're adults right? Sometimes you need to take your comfort where you find it. Life is too Short!!

That is sooo funny. I think we all have been there at some time or other. I once made a batch of cookies (many years ago) and ate them all before my hubby got home from work. He came home and said it smelled like I had been baking. I told him that it was just the Christmas Cookies candle that I had burned............

Well I had a very healthy lunch (rollup with lettuce and raw peppers) so I had TWO chocolate cookies for dessert.

Definately been there too. I'm always eating things just a smidgen at a time. I cut things like donuts into bite size pieces so I won't eat the enire thing, but then wind up eating those bite size pieces all day until I've probably eaten more then 1 (ok, maybe 3). When I bake breads I do the same thing, just a sliver off the end, then another sliver until I've eaten an entire pan of cinammon rolls. I've stopped making large bathes of things, and I work on getting things into the freezer quickly.
