I met a woman last year and we ride together to a quilting group we go to every Wednesday. We became good friends and I spend a lot of time with her. I want to be her when I grow up!! She makes beautiful quilts (hand quilted), crochets, knits, does oil and water painting, makes porcelain dolls, sews doll clothes, spins, weaves, dyes, does bobbin lace, does beading, helps with charity quilts, belongs to two quilting/sewing groups, two guilds, gardens, hunts, fishes, camps, and takes care of her home and husband, whose health is failing. She is truly remarkable!! And her fabric stash is amazing!!! Oh yeah, did I mention that she's 83 years old?

I am new to quilting so I don't know all that many quilters-so far Elenor Burns because she makes everything look possible and fun.

You mean we really have to grow up??? Darn anyway....I thought I could be a kid forever?! My sons say I'm "going thru my second childhood"....LOL I've even got what the kids call the "tuner" car...Loud stereo system and exhaust even. :D
