I don't know for sure how hot it was in the middle of the day. We slept through it, with the A/C blowing across the bed.
Hubby just left for work. He's broke out with a heat rash everywhere, especially in "unmentionable places". Poor guy. I never could find those water crystals to make him some neck coolers. I finally ordered some off eBay. Hopefully they'll be here in a couple of days.

I live in GA just south of the airport. It is way too hot to even go out for me. The dogs don't even want to stay outside more than a few minutes. I lived in FL for years and it was never this hot. Or it seems that way. We are getting short heavy rains most afternoons. Just like when we lived down there. All it does is make it so humid I can't breathe. It is awful. I feel so bad for people who don't have air. We only have two small window units for the whole house but it makes it bearable.

When I think of the days before airconditioning I realize I am so spoiled. How on earth did those people survive the summers? I know how they survived the winters, they made quilts and had lots of children. LOL. I think technology has turned me into a big whinny baby. Tho I never whine about the cold air. Even in the ice storm I was very content(sp?). Oh well until winter gets here I will continue to sit in the nice cold air of my Apt.
