It's 104 right now the shade. I'm ready for a little cooling off period. This is the hottest summer since the first one when we moved to central Illinois 12 years ago. I absolutely hate hot humid weather. I like to be outside but it is to hot.

I agree with Eddie enough is enough.
I live in Central California, and we have been searching for the "best place to retire to". We want to get away from 6 months of 90 degrees and higher temps. After reading all of these posts, my dreams are being dashed! Is there anywhere where the summers are lovely?
    Ventura County is beautiful!!!

We are at 103 with an index of 114. Humidity is only 38% so it is a dry heat, even the breeze is hot.

I'm just down the road from you by 130 miles or so, and yes, it has been a cool summer so far. We need a long sleeve shirt in the evenings.

It was only 105* on the way home while ago. Down a bit from yesterday's 108*.

It is 97 here in central IN at 4:45pm. Today is being forecast to be the hottest day of the year. I am not sure about that...but, at least there is a hot breeze blowing. I like some hot weather but this summer has just been HOT all the time. I think there were just a couple days in June that we were able to turn of the a/c and open the windows. We have had plenty of rain, as well so the yard keeps growing quickly and my flower beds look good. It is taking a toll on my flower pots, though. I just can't keep them watered enough. Personally, I am ready for fall to get here.
