I'm looking for connections that can give me info on moving to that area Aug of 2011. Love PA, but daughter lives in Bloomingdale NJ and want to be within 2 hours of her. Would like to build a friendship and learn more about your area, so please consider replying. Thanks!

You can search the user list by location to find people.

    This is just an idea.

    Good luck with your move!

I can't be of much help because I live near the east coast of Jersey but if you are considering PA, something near Lancaster would be great for a quilter. The many shops in that area sell fabric at greatly reduced prices, all top manufacters and top quality too. Good Luck with your search, May in Jersey

Your photo reminds me of a dear friend. What part of Jersey? And YES, love the Amish district. Have spent as much time there whenever I come out as I can. My daughter also loves that area. I like New Hope, New Holland, Lititz, and many of the little towns along the way. More reasonable than NJ too. Thanks for the reply!

Hi Sassy, Guess you were talking to me, don't think its the dog who resembles your friend, LOL! I live in Monmouth County, near exit 117 on the Garden State Parkway. I live closer to the bay than the ocean so you see I'm pretty far east from New Hope, etc.

Will be in the Lancaster area in a few weeks for a weekend retreat with a few friends and you know we'll be stopping at the fabric shops while were there. May in Jersey
