That's my Corie. She was from the first litter I bred, the start of Rugosa Basenjis. In Jan '08, life changed due to me being in an accident. My only suggestion, make sure you, and all who you love, wears their sealt belt. I'd be dead if I hadn't worn mine.
I don't breed anymore, but will always love the breed.

The pic under my name is two granddaughters ages 3 and almost 3! They are 5 months apart to the day! They are wrapped in the youngests' quilt I made for her (the one on the left). I have 12 grandkids, 1 soon to be granddaughter (due in Jan, '11) and 3 step grandkids! I'm on quilt 7 this year! I make 'em and give 'em away! Started with the youngest and working my way to the oldest! Then my kids want one and then my DH wants one!! LOL! I'll be busy for awhile!

    Lovely!

I learned to sew as a child on my Mom's high school graduation sewing machine - a 221 Featherweight!

My Mom has since passed away, but my Dad holds onto it for his canvas and leather work, he restores buggies.

So I gave up and bought one, then my husband retired. Well, funds were low, so I sold it go get by. Sorry I did :-( I sure miss that little machine! And, my daughter cried when it went out the door. The lady who bought it cried too, she was a retired school teacher who had always dreamed of owning one. ♥

This is our 5 year old Rhodesian Ridgeback named Ronny. He is laying on "his" couch in the living room (the only one he's allowed on). He's my walking partner and a sweetie!

For lack of a better picture... I am currently using one of me, from about 27 years ago, before life got so serious. I like to remind me to think young!

My daughter has a boxer named Shelby, too! Interesting, isn't it?? She also has Timmy, the 3 legged boxer, rescued from Tennessee to Minnesota to her. He is a real hoot!!!

Mine is a picture of a pair of Moles that I made a few years ago for my DGD and her school mate. They needed them for high school project, so when either DGD need a sewing project for school they call for nanny to help.
