My avatar picture is me, taken 7/17/10 the day I broke my right ankle, I'm showing off the quilt I finished the day before I broke it.
My Westie is named Annie, she was stray who showed up at DH's work one day as he was getting in the pickup to come home. He opened the door to get in and she hopped in. Also a bag of bones and nearly bald, we didn't know she was a Westie until a couple of months later and her fur started to grow in.
The other 3 are Molly the golden retriever(4-5 yrs), we've had her since July; she was dumped and was just skin and bones.
Terra the lab mix, had her since 8 weeks old and is 8. Choop is our DS's dog he is about 4 and is poodle mix.

Dixie,a sweet lab/pitbull mix died in April at 16 of kidney failure. We picked her up at the pound, she was the sweetest dog; she'd been abused. It took me nearly a year to be able to brush her. We got to keep her for 13 years.
She gave whole face kisses, liked to sing when we came home from wherever. It was so hard to let her go.

So I started taking time to quilt again, got a camera, and Rita to be my companion when I go take pictures. Well.....wouldn't you know it! she gets car sick! lol but she makes up for it, she has her own little bag of tricks. She shakes, gives high five, jumps through hoops, goes and gets the paper, fetches, plays basket ball, attacks the sprinkler, and the list goes on. She definately keeps us laughing! So my name kind of explains itself. ;)
    What a cutie!

My setters are Maddie, the red and white one.... And Sofie, the black and white one. They are sisters, and have been sleeping together since they were born. Hard to seperate them!
