We had heavy rains overnight in the Dallas area which turned into snow around 11:00am. The snow started sticking on the ground and the trees. We didn't have wind so all of the trees are beautiful. Only about an inch or so and that will probably be gone tomorrow. Pretty to look while it is here.

Here is what it looked like a few minutes ago and it just started to get to the heavy snow. This is about 5/8" and its over and inch right now and picking up speed.

Oh My, I live in Illinois and I do know what snow is, I sick of it and want to see some green, I love the changing of the seasons, but a little snow is ok.

I remember last year Billy took pictures of some snow they had. We are to get 1-3" starting sometime tomorrow, we will see, if the wind changes we may not get any. Our biggest snows usually come up from the South. We could have had a decent snowfall last Friday, it turned and went to Illinois instead.
Around this area when people hear it is going to snow or ice everyone beats it to the stores to buy milk, bread and eggs, radio people joke they are planning to make french toast, I always have that stuff on hand and I do love french toast.
    Enjoy your snow.

Our son is sick of it. They live in Idaho and each time they get snow he has to clear the driveway.....takes 10 gallons of gas to remove snow from just his driveway so he and his wife can go to work. They say more is coming this week.

    Wow we have snow!!

I took a few photos of it and I will upload them on my laptop to show you but it sure is purty out there. :-D I havent measured it but I am thinking somewhere between 4 to 5 inches of snow is what we ended up with. But the pups are really liking it and I am going out to the studio and work on getting rid of my scraps!!
