This is a great thread. It is so nice to put a face to a name.
Beautiful families out there.

Hello, my name is Vicky. This was taken at my grandson's first birthday, and I recently added a granddaughter! I love quilting, especially for my family. I enjoy talking to all of you, and have learned alot of new techniques and tips...

And a pic of me and Samantha, my granddaughter. Aren't grandkids GREAT?!!! Will also include one of my oldest son, Marquis and his fiance, Jessie. And another of my youngest son, Don at his wedding to Gina. I'll have to dig more up later of my daughters (my grandkid's mommas)

After the 5 hour hike along the Green Gardens hiking trail we found this little gem. This is home sweet home!! I would be homesick if I didn't have my ocean!

I'm so sorry about your brother, Lenny. I can't even imagine my life without my 2 brothers and my sister. Is it possible for you to post a picture of the quilt you speak of that has your brother's square on it? Thank you for sharing this very sad part of your life but also the picture of you and your husband...it certainly shows the extremes our lives all have...the best and the worst/saddest/hardest/etc.

Love your "kitty" skirt. I made our granddaughter a "Poodle skirt" for Halloween years ago. Your Sock project sounds great. Bless your generous, giving heart. In our town we do a coat and blanket give-away every fall which helps about 100 people with these needed items. Keep up your good work and thanks for sharing your projects and your picture.

Here's one of me, my husband Jason, and our son Devin
We belong to a fife and drum corps that represents a unit of the Virginia Militia during the French & Indian War. I play the fife and Jason plays the bass drum.
Devin likes to be involved too!
My husband and my brother in law are HUGE Star Wars fans and they wanted Devin to be an Ewok for Halloween this year. Here's the costume I made him.
