Default Whoa- flash flooding and cancelled appt

Wow, we have had rain for days. all day and all night. now flash flooding. The newspaper had a map showing water run off directions and towns hit by flooding. just West of us was the run off but it turned North. If not, i'd be typing from under water!! . My Dermatologist's office called to cancel my appointment today, the office is closed. I just looked up the road that collapsed and it is one I would have taken but I would have turned left instead of right where the road collapsed. jeesh!! I love Colorado!! Poor people, some lost houses, cars and lives. 100 year floods are here to stay awhile.

Are you in the Boulder/Loveland area? I thought I saw all of Loveland was to be evacuated. Flash flooding is scary because it does come on so quickly. I'm glad that you are safe so far.

I remember about 20 years ago my mother and I had to go downtown, which is at a lower level. We had all this rain and by the time I was ready to go back home, I couldn't get through any of the streets to get home. I had to go waaay out past town about six miles to circle around so I could get home.

Sending Prayers from the Gulf for anyone involved in the floods and fires. Praying you will not have to evacuate.

You all have my prayers. I have been watching on the news how very bad it is there. You have to much and we can't get enough.
