My doctor told me this the other day at my annual physical:


A woman is looking in the mirror and she's discouraged. She says "I'm old, I'm fat, I'm wrinkled" Her husband is there and she says "Dear, please pay me a compliment".
The husband says "You have great eyesight".


I'm a little punchy from this heat wave and I cracked up

HeeHeeHee! I can only raise a little giggle. It's hot and dry here in central North Carolina, also. It's been in the high 90s for a couple of weeks. Ugh!

This a.m. in Northern Indiana, the weather took a change for the better. It is just lovely outside. No flies, no mosquitoes, a good light breeze from the East, a bad sign, and no humidity and a temp of 72. No clouds.

Sometimes you do look in the mirror and she fat, wrinkles and old...but then you think well I can still get around and sew, quilt and garden..so what. Yes, husbands sometimes say funny things.
We have an average 97 for a few days, and morning in the 60-70 range...but that will change this weekend and will be 100 - 103 predicted for a week but no humidity.
