I have been keeping up here with all of the collections, what an assortment :D:D:D
I finally figuered out why I do not collect more items...helping my mom clean her enormous 200+ bell collection is enough cleaning of knicky knacks for me LOL We all tease about who is GOING TO HAVE to take them when she is gone... She laughs and says to just give them away... There are a number of special ones that we will keep :D:D:D

My SIL collected Hummingbirds and when she passed away a few years back and my wife took up where she left off. The quilt that I made her for her B-day had Hummingbirds in it.

I use to collect a lot of things but since I lost everything in a fire a couple of years ago I am pretty selective about collecting stuff. I only collect things that "talk" to me...I'm crazy that way, lol! I have to really want it. And I don't buy it, unless I know exactly where I'm gonna put it when I get it home. So, right now, I'm collecting Civil War Repro fabric (for a quilt for ME) and I collect Byers Choice Caroller Christmas dolls to represent members of my family...well, ok...I guess you could say I have been collecting Christmas tree ornaments too! I can't get enough of them!! (Santas, snowmen, glass, crystal & sparkly things...I have it bad!)

I have collected Rhino's for a few year's now. Used to be black and white cows till they was in every room of the house then one day started giving them away. I like rhinos because you have to hunt to find them. I have jewlery fab with rhinos on it and books figurines etc, anythig with a RHINO. They are indangered. Red apples in my kitchen. Frogs in one of the bathrooms. And then fabris fabric and more fabric and patterns....

I have a collection of shot glasses and spoons from places we have traveled or from people who travel for us LOL and baseball cards. I've started getting into Featherweights, vintage/antique sewing machines, sewing baskets and funky pincushions. Oh yea, I also have a collection of DUST  :) that I can't ever get rid of!
