Why did you pick that Avatar?

My avatar is of a double ring wall hanging I made from a class i took with John Flynn. The wall hanging came out fine - I think I want to try better machine quilting on it eventually but most of all, I love the colors and it makes me happy.

My sweet, adorable, ornery, kitten Bella is my Avatar. She's the most goofiest cat we've ever had. She acts like a dog most of the time, fetching things. She makes me laugh every day. She's also spoiled rotten!.

Mine is of one of the recents quilts I made, I made it for my niece for her high school Grad gift, she is very special to me, I love her as much as I love my own children. Purple is her favorite colour, and I loved how the quilt turned out, I had been collecting purple fabrics for awhile, but had no idea what pattern I was going to use, then one day I was going through some kits I had purchased and hadn't made up yet, and I came across "With Love from Bali" and in my heart I knew that's the one I was going to make for her, using the purple fabrics I had been collecting.
She is gone off to University now, so I don't get to see her as often as I used to, but she is doing well with her studies.

I found my avatar one day as I was surfing the net and it just made me laugh out loud. Even though that poor cat has half a melon shell on her head she still manages to look dignified. Now, if I had that melon shell on my head, I'd just look downright stupid!!!
