I don't shave mine, I braid it! lol ... kidding. But I haven't shaved for a while. When I had chemo last year my leg hair magically disappeared, although I wouldn't recommend that method of hair removal. :-) Now it's grown but I haven't touched it. I live and sleep alone and wear long pants to work, so who cares? I'll probably break down soon though because I don't like the way it looks.

Try using some type of sugar scrub. You can either buy a jar of it or make your own. It makes a difference for me. My legs just feel better, even if they look the same.
If you make your own it's basically brown sugar and oil. There should be lots of recipes online.

My ex had alopecia smoothest legs ever, and she shaved her left armpit every three years. Unfortunately until she bough some high dollar wigs her scalp always itched. .She almost always wore a sleep hat to bed. Hair does hold heat.
