It is the same with sick kids..my grandson brings home all sorts of little germs, and he was a premie with lung issues. but what i do understand, raising kids myself..if my kid had to stay home, who was going to watch them. your usually contagious well before you have the disease..like measles or chicken pox. So sad that others are compromised..but that is why i carry hand sanitizer,I wore a mask on a plane trip from detroit to san antonio. i keep a small pair of all cotton thin gloves in my pocket to wear in the grocery store, just pushing the cart, can give me the creeps, thinking about the flu and such. i never got flu shots until i had grandkids.
i am sorry you feel crummy, and i hope you get better quick.the only way you can avoid germs, related to illness is to becoame a recluse..and that would be a great lose to everyone..Blessings..Kim

we carry hand sanitizer in the car and ALWAYS use it after getting back in the car......

some walmarts (and others) have wipes for the buggy handles etc
I guess now that the news people have gone on to something else all those practices will fall by the wayside...
I carry the hand sanitizer too. I have even given some away to people in my church.

That's horrible. Why even earn sick days if you can't use them.

In my opinion....part of the trouble we are having with resistant bacteria and viruses...is that we use too much antibacterial everything. Our immune systems work the best when it has been allowed to work...building up immunities when we are exposed to minor illnesses.
