    That's what I need, .......a lake!

Mama goose is nesting at this moment, she's got (5) eggs that she's sitting on right now (for the past 2 weeks, she's immobile).

Love the serenity of your picture, I would NOT move from your location either.

Love my country home, a hawk has been sitting out my back door all week, I have two new kittens and I can only expect that he had seen me outside with them and is waiting. So right now they can't go outside. I also have seen deer in my front yard, I knew they were in back pasture, but they have never been up front before. Something new every day.

Bearutiful! I watched a family of wrens build a nest in my begonia hanging basket, lay 6 eggs, hatch, babies dwindled to 3, next time I looked there was only one still in the nest, all feathered, now none! Still see the parents hunting for food every day! I love nature! God blesses us so greatly!

I side with the Hawk actually :) Not a big fan of Geese, especially Canadians. Pretty ... yes ... but they are big pests in many ways.

I dont like flocks of them, but this pair stops briefly every year.. They usually stay for a very short time and on they go..

This is the first time they stayed long enough to have babies.. And I like all babies....

When I came home from the beach yesterday I found my garden had grown beautifully while I was gone, as did the lawn LOL Then I noticed a dove hanging around my front porch....mmmmm... found it. She made a nest in my hanging basket and there's one egg in the nest :)

I so love those beautiful scenes. The beach was beautiful, but like you, my yard and home hold all I really need.

Enjoy - and thank you for sharing your beautiful home.
