Love your views! Isn't it great living where you can enjoy "nature"! We have baby geese every year, most of the goslings don't make it.... In out case, its usually turtles....darn things!

Awesome. What a great view. Yes, the hawk and coycotes will get them.

If there are turtles in the pond, they come from below and snatch the babies and pull them down into the water and eat them. A gruesome fact, but true!

We live on the Mississippi and when I sit on my deck at any time of day, I feel it's almost a spiritual experience! But then that can be anywhere you live, if you just take the time and concentrate on your surroundings.

I love the birds. Last night sitting on our deck we saw doves, a covie of quail, a mallard and his lady, hawks and a great horned owl. It was wonderful.

I agree what a pretty picture. I was raised in the city but am a country girl as I love the wild life in all its glory.

We don't have a lake but we are in the foothills and our days are marked by sightings of wild turkeys, deer, squirrels and many birds. It is Heaven to me......

We see a lot of wildlife here too. Deer, raccoons, hawks, among other things. Last week it was a dead skunk behind our gazebo.......Ugh!
