When I get up in the morning, this is what I get to see, along with other wildlife....

We have a pair of geese that stopped for a while to have a little family... There were two babies, but now only one. But they are soo careful, one on each side of the baby at all times.

Dont know what happened to the other baby.. it was there yesterday... I heard a lot of barking last night, so it could have been a coyote.. or

    This could be the culprit...

I love living in the country. I grew up by San Francisco. We now live on 2 acres, river is the front view and pasture land is the back. Love it here:)

We never know what the future will hold. But one thing you cannot ever lose is these wonderful pictures in your mind's eye. How blessed you are.

Snapping turtles are notorious for taking baby ducklings and goslings. Snatch them down while they are on the water. This is why I really dislike snappers and won't hesitate to kill them.
