Skies have been hazy here in Loveland, too. My thoughts and prayers go out to the victims of the fire.

This breaks my heart. That can be such a beautiful canyon, but more often than not is dry as a bone. We have spent alot of time in the area that is burning and are saddened by this. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

The winds are changing tonight so they have alerted the city of Boulder to be prepared to evacuate. They let some of the evacuees back in their homes today only to re-evacuate them when the wind changed. The fire is 15% contained according to one report. The winds in Denver were high today I cannot imagine how high they were up in the canyon. There are four people missing that had refused to evacuate. I hope they are safe and just haven't checked in.
