I have overly excellent hearing, according to my DH. Seriously, waaaay too good sometimes! But I gave up on Elementary several years ago because I could barely understand the main character's words, even though I enjoyed the story line. Maybe I should see if that show has CC.

Agree about elementary....sad, because it is a good series.......what erks me most is all this loud background music on the dramatic programs.....that makes it hard to hear the dialog, last time I had a serious conversation, or any kind of conversation, I did not hear music in the background... wonder who's brilliant idea this was!
Also, watched Madame secretary new episode...hate the haircut! Not flattering to her face at all, looks straggly..liked her "old" look much better. Jmho

Will and Grace is another show I found after it went into syndication and loved it. Have not seen the new version and lost all desire when it came out political.

I also watched the 'new' Will & Grace. I loved the 'old' one. I could not connect with the story line ~ will watch another just to be sure it was not a one-off fluke.

I keep closed captioning on all the time. My hearing is great, but I never miss words now.
