The lady in blue was a queen from another country! She had on a very very interesting dress.
I think you might be getting a little mixed up, but the lady in question is a family friend of Prince Charles, not Royalty.

Homely is not the word I would use for Beatrice and Eugenie.. FRUMPY, FRUMPY, FRUMPY.
And one of them wore that loopy hat....awful
And one of them forgot to take the hanger out of her skirt? I think whoever told her it looked good, should be summarily flogged with a .....

Try telling that to the guys around here who take their concealed weapons everywhere.
Ever been to Texas? They have to tell everyone there, (in paint, on the front windows) to leave their guns outside, on all the government buildings. A little culture shock for me. Gotta love 'em. "Don't mess with Texas"

Looks like the cousins could use a session with a style consultant.

I am glad the wedding wasnt over the top and they made it as simple as they could still being royals.
I loved her gown and thought it didnt over power her.
The Queen and Camilla don't get along? I thought she sat Camilla inbetween Diana and Charles at some function or another. And she knew they were lovers.

I think I am the only one who thinks the dress was a bit poorly made. What the heck was wrong with the bodice? To me it looked like she was wearing one of those cone bras from the 50's and didn't have enough to fill it out, so it was all crumply under the dress. All I saw was lumpy fabric and tugging at the bodice. The rest of it was beautiful, but the bodice was a disaster. Seems like with all the money she spent on it, the bodice would be smooth and well shaped. She seriously looked like she needed to stuff that bra!

Gosh, there was a chap who was the image of him although we thought he had aged a little, and was not looking very well. As they say, we all have a double.

Loved the whole wedding ceremony and loved the hats and dresses. It was in all a beautiful day and wish William and Catherine all the happiness and blessings in their married life together.

Hats went out in the early to mid 1960's when bouffant hairstyles came in. Remember us "ratting or teasing" our hair? No way would a hat sit on top of some of those beehives we use to wear!
lololol....I was married in 1957 and when leaving on our honeymoon, I wore dress, heels, gloves and a hat when flying off into the wild blue.........

today, it's t-shirts, cut-offs and sneaks.....

times do change, don't they???
..............and who are we to say which is right !!!!!!
That's when we were married too. Now I'd probably break wearing the heels we use to wear. LOL

I read somewhere that that was their way of making a statement about their mother being snubbed - not sure how true that is.
