I never realized your hubby was in the Navy, stupid me. I thought maybe you were in Guam doing missionary work as I know some people who do that. Anyway now that I know please thank your hubby for keeping me safe.

I can definitly feel for you. I spent three years in the Phillipines. I thought rocks grew to boulders and back to sand in that time I was there, BUT I would not trade that experience for anything now. It will be a culture shock coming back. You now can see the light of the Stature of Liberty. WELCOME HOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Peach, it's ok. Sometimes we all have "brain fluffs" lol

Well, I ship the van on Monday. It goes to the detailer man to get nice and pretty on Saturday. He thinks he'll be done with it by the afternoon, but since there are only 3 of them working on Saturday, it might not be done until Sunday, which is fine. As long as it's nice and clean and passes Customs Inspection.
Then, I get to figure out exactly what week we are shipping our household goods. Hubby says we should ship early, but he doesn't realize that the washer and dryer will go too. He HAS to do laundry EVERY night when he comes home. He won't be able to do that and laundry will only be done once a week when w/d is gone....hmm...something for him to think about!

Cats got shots today. They are ready. Just need to get them back to the vets 2 days before we leave to get their paperwork done so they can fly.
Still have to get hubby to fill out paperwork for airline tickets. Told him we need them as early as possible so we can get reservations for the cats. Airline only takes so many pets per flight, plus, we are upgrading to First Class and there aren't many seats left on the flight I want....he better hurry!

Congratulations. Happy moving time to you. We are also military and always look forward to our moving dates. Except we just found out that we are staying in NJ for another year. Guess that is ok. Good luck. Beth

This move will be our 2d to last move. We have this one, then he retires and we will move one more time. Once I get my Forever House, I am NOT leaving.
