The 2 phrases I hate the most are: Free Gift(when did it start costing to get a gift??) No problem , rather than you're welcome.

I agree "have a nice day" bothers me. Does anyone really mean it? Maybe we should start asking them if they mean it.

For me I dont like the phrase " No brainer" or 24/7, also when someone it trying to sound intelligent and starts out with "bascially", or ends with the words " If you will"

I work in a fireplace store. I cringe when someone says "chimley" instead of "chimney"

All of the above, and, when someone says something they consider to be superior they finish it off with "but that's just me", like they are the only ones who can be, say or do something "better" than anyone else.

Do you want to go with? With what??? That drives me crazy.
also the word bring being used when the word take should be. Everyone says bring now as if take never existed. and i've noticed it in movies decades ago. where are all the English teachers?

Improper use of grammar: should of instead of should have, suppose to instead of supposed to.

Anything "green", "organic", or "sustainable". I think these phrases are overused and, for the most part, are simply marketing gimmicks.
The "Hon" by younger complete strangers drives me wild. My GP referred me to a specialist that did that to me. She spoke to me as if I were a child - I may be "older than dirt" & I may be ill, but I am not an idiot, nor am I a child. I endured that first appopintment, then called my GP & told her to find someone else - I would not be returning to that particular Dr and I told her why.

Another thing that bothers me is the phrase "up in here/ up in there" - you are either "up here" or "in here" - the only way you are "up in here" is if you are in an enclosed space above the lower level. It just sounds ignorant to me
