    I have a few to add to the list. It drives me mad when people say "busted" when they mean "broken" (as in "There was a busted water main."). Also, I hate when people say "3 a.m. in the morning". "Conversated" and "seen" for "saw" also are high up on my list.

    I had a professor in college who would disagree with you. According to her, that is an urban legend.

    One that I can not stand and people use alot is..seen. I seen that..NO..you SAW that..my sister says I seen all the time..but trust me saw is in her vocabulary..because sometimes she says I had saw that..NO YOU DIDN'T.

    "Busy busy busy! " Usually the retort when one is unavailable to do something. Grates on me.

    Also the term "amazing".....very few things are!
