Yes, the word either. For instance on the decorating shows they say they are going to put the side tables on either side of the bed; no you just put them on both sides of the bed, that's not either. That gets me everytime and the do it all the time. We were brought up for the words to mean one thing and now they act like they are interchangeable. And of course its the kids favorite word "da". My 5yr old grandson said that to me in the store the other day and I about jerked him out of his jacket. I told him to not ever use that word with me again and what ever I was going to get him went back on the shelf.

I agree with all of these and will add mine.
"I love you to death" what does this mean? "You know" after every sentence. GD( I will not spell this out) but it burns me when I hear it used in everyday language like He is nothing.

ALL of the above and "pop" as in "That liner will make your eyes really pop." Not really.
"Pant" instead of "pants" referring to the tubes of fabric joined at the top, covering us from ankles to mid-section.

I hate that some people unknown to me call me 'dear', 'sweetie', or 'honey'. It is so demeaning. I just so much want to retort "I'm sorry, but we don't know each other well enough for you to call me a term of endearment."
