When someone says "whatever" to me it's saying I don't care or want to be bothered, it's very rude in my opinion.

Terms of endearment ("Hon") by people either younger than me, or whom I've never met.

Improper use of grammar: should of instead of should have, suppose to instead of supposed to.

Anything "green", "organic", or "sustainable". I think these phrases are overused and, for the most part, are simply marketing gimmicks.

Walking to my mail box the other day I passed by children waiting for the school bus, they were first through fifth graders. I have never heard such filth coming out of anyone's mouth as was being said by them. As my husband is retired Army I have spent a lot of time around military bases and thought I had heard it all. That really shook me up.

"I could care less", because what they really mean is "I couldn't care less".

"Like" this, "like" that, "like" the other! Even by supposedly professionals on TV! I counted 3 "likes" in one sentence by my DGS the other day!

I am very surprised I haven't heard this one yet! I hate the overused word "absolutely"!!! Just say "yes". This word is so overused in the media that I can say it before they do!
