"Kiddos" used for children. A difficult boss used to say word that all the time. It still makes me cringe.

"Teacher, I have a question. Last night my dog started barking and then my dad said,..." (No question in there, just a long and strange story.)

"Teacher, she yelled at me." "IS THIS WHAT SHE SOUNDED LIKE?" "No." "Then she didn't yell at you."

My last one comes from church-when people are told that they aren't "relevant." What does that mean? That sounds so shallow and cruel!

I agree with my fellow members with "EASY PEASY" and "POP" and taking the GOD'S name in Vain, and also LITERALLY! NOT IN THAT ORDER!

"I'm over it" and "I didn't sign up for this" - Mother, but you are driving me nuts with these phrases lately

Aah now I've got that off my chest....thank you fellow board members - I feel better now!

"Have a nice day..." Which I first heard in the US in 1983 and now every check-out chick says it here in all tones of voice. They all irk me.

Pronouncing especially as "expecially"!!! If you can't say it right, say particularly!!!

AND I asked how you were, not how you were behaving, so the answer should be "I am well", not "I'm good"

I agree with you 100%, especially on the gd part!!
When someone says "you know" all the time I just say, "no, I don't know, I'm stupid". If nothing else, it breaks their concentration.

    "near miss"
    "AX" for "ask"
    "mischeeveeus" for "mischievous"
    "Valentimes" instead of Valentines"

I CRINGE at those - the news group on tv messes up quite frequently %$#@
