WOO-HOO!!!! Ladies! I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO impressed to read that you all wear New Balance Shoes! I happen to make them here in the good ole US of A! Right here in the great state of Maine.Norridgewock to be precise,we also have a factory in Skowhegan and Norway.Thank you so much for supporting American made and "helping" to keep me employed for a time longer! Have a great day!

Vasque are great shoes too, more like hiking boots, very comfy.
Merrell's are the best. I wish I had gotten two or three pairs when I got my black ones. If they fit your feet, they fit like a glove. It's almost like you are not wearing shoes yet you have support for your arch. Love them. They sell wides too.

I like Gravity Defyers and the solid Sketchers. There are different grades of Sketchers and you have to make sure you get the good ones.

I used to love Clarks when they were still made in England. Not the same Clarks these days, IMHO.

Working in a warehouse I would want a shoe vs. a clog or slide. Dansko are great IF you can fit them. They do not offer half sizes. I am a 7.5 and can only wear their sandals.

check out Alegria "professional" series of shoes. Online. www.alegria.com

The best shoe is the one that you find comfortable and fits. Perhaps head to one of the independent shoe stores thatspecialize in the better brands albiet more expensive. Shoes are too important to skimp on esp. When on your feet all day.

I am on my feet for 12 plus hours a shift ( nurse in a busy Emergency Room ) For a lace up shoe I love my black Keens they seem to run naturally wide , and I have had my current pair for two years. I have never found an athletic shoes as comfortable or that will hold up more than a few months and they are far to expensive to replace that often. It is getting harder and harder to find an athletic shoe that is leather as well .

I used to wear NB because they were made in the USA but something changed with them and they kill my feet. Tried a couple pair and wasted so much money. But a lot of people do well with them.

I have worn SAS shoes and sandals for many years. Perfect fit, many widths and they last a long time even if worn working.
