I tried my darnedest to be a good DIL, but SHE was never satisfied. Some people are never satisfied - especially spoiled ones.
One of the most delightful compliments my DGD gave her mother came after a particularly bad time she had babysitting. 'Mama, thank you for not spoiling me.' My DD turned around and paid me the same compliment.
Amen. Can't ask for much more than that!

I have been reading the posts on that site for days and days, I am back to 2004 in the archives. Some are kind of funny, some sad, some make you mad.
I am glad I never had a problem with my MIL after reading all that. We weren't close and didn't see each other a whole lot but not because there were problems. Just the busy lives of working and kids and she worked too.
