That would be pretty in a quilt but it would take a lot of Precious Memories to print enough to do a quilt unless it was a small one. Why don't you print it out on fabric and make a wall hanging or table runner with it? Personally I'd use the whole photo too. I love the shadow play and the multicolored pebbles. Either that or do a postage stamp. Some computer programs will allow you to "pixelize" a picture. That makes it easier to do a postage stamp quilt.

Definitely! Those colors are wonderful! On Quilt Out Loud, they did an episode on taking quilt color combination's from nature. I think you have a winner there. In fact I think I have some stone fabric in my stash!

Nature is almost always the best inspiration for creating, in my opinion anyways. :)

    Beautiful picture!

Very pretty. I read on here somewhere while ago about how you know you are spending too much time quilting when you look at . . well everything and see a quilt - or a pattern.

It was funny to me at first - until I started doing it too. Bricks on a building, flooring in stores, restaurants, even on trucks I see while driving. They have seams between the panals of metal on the trailers - crazy huh?

But that really would make very nice fabric!!
