    Thats my first thought too....aside from that I highly doubt that the ketchup folks will purchase a product that will cut down on the amount of ketchup they sell.

    I basically use the recipe in the BBB - I do use less cloves & instead of cayenne I use chipotle powder. I don't really measure the spices too closely. My son in law likes a hot ketchup made with jalapenos but when I add them, I pressure can instead of bwb. You just have to make it to your taste, I guess - I know mine never comes out the same twice, but we like it.

    Agreed and the same goes for peanut butter! When you reach the lower part of the jar you get a very messy knife handle consequently you get very messy hands.

    Why not stick to the squeeze bottles, what's wrong with them??? After all these years, i don't have cancer.

    I understand the need for ketchup bottles with a squirt top but I would really like to have it in wide mouth jars as well.
