Congrats on the new job, and as others said, 50 is not old, and we are never too old to learn. Have a great time, charging up those brain cells, and learning lots of new stuff. Way to go.

Congrats on that - I know what it was like going back to university at 34 to get my RN degree, I felt like I could be the mother to over half the class! lol

Congratulations!! That sounds great! I'm with thimblebug, I guess. I had to have some help from IT in my office today, and when the very patient guy asked which version of a program I needed, I could only answer "the blue one" (referring to the icon that I can apparently ONLY recognize by color).

Congratulations! And you better stop that. I am also back to school. I am 48 years old and have noticed that lately, any time I speak of my age I refer to it as almost 50. Well, I had enough of that. I am far from 50 (keep telling myself that) and will only say 50 after Feb 8, 2013 and not a day before. I guess being in school with young people reminds me of how young I am not.

I remember seeing a man on the news one evening he was 83 and graduating university he had been taking courses over 20+ yrs
