Very scary situation, that. I've "hunkered" through a hurricane, and it's very very frightening! Glad you are OK.

Billy it roared thru here at 12:15am. we are like you with 3 severe storms this month and frankly I'm tired of it. We lost power for about 2 hours. We had 90 mile winds with blinding rain and the wildest lighning streaking across the sky. many trees are down and blocking road ways.

Can I have winter back please!!!!!

Billy, Glad you and the others affected by these storms are o.k. It really can be horrifying to experience these. When we first moved to New Orleans from Wyoming all I could say was "Man, these storms are just really pissed off". The storms that go through the south up to the mid-west are really mean. Some of them just scare the bujezus out of you... Glad you're all o.k. Please remind everyone to stay safe during the clean up. Lot's of accidents happen then too.

My wife was laughing at me, I was in the sunroom with the laptop on the National Weather Service Doper Radar, my weather radio for back up info, my cell phone with the WeatherCall installed, and the TV on the local news watching the storm coverage. I had the shades pulled up and all the lights off so I can watch for the lightning and doing this all from my lazyboy under my lap quilt. My wife calls it "Weather Central" because I love storms and tornadoes so much.

To me its just fun to watch all of this stuff go on. I have been in two hurricanes, and countless tornadoes and all of it really fascinates me.

sorry to hear of all the bad stroms there. Glad to hear u are ok , Sure hope this is the last of the strom for u all.
