Wow, the weather is getting nice in Indiana. Hubby is outside mowing the yard for the 1st time. We planted some grass where my old flower bed was and had to rake up the straw!

I can't wait to plant flowers!

Anybody rake rocks? Our drive is a long uphill drive and we hire it plowed every year and every spring we have to go and rake the rocks out of the ditch banks!! Horrible, ugly job and I ache for days. I'd just leave them but my dear hubby says it is hard on the mowers. So that is how we are spending the next 2-3 days. Than on to cleaning up my flower beds. I'm thinking of doing away with one of them, the big one. Here is a picture from last year. Yes, that is a large limestone rock (boulder) that was here when we moved in 23 years ago. It is about 4-6 inches shorter than it was than.

    Happy Gardening everyone!

If I had a yard to work on you bet I would be out there making a vegetable garden and a flower garden. The best I get right now is fake flowers sitting at my front door. Apartment life sucks!!!!!!!!!!!
