The contractors that did our bathroom were horrible...it was a nightmare. Thankfully we did go through Lowes and they made them fix it and the owner of the company came today and worked on it with his best crew today. They had other things to fix too...and they completed them all. Yah

The bath looks very upscale. I love the glass tile work. Houses do need updating to keep their value. I'm in the process of changing out the light fixtures in every room. They are so out of date. Not antique, just ugly.

We had a lot of upgrades to do. We worked on paying off the house, and so we had a lot of cheaper do it yourslf stuff over the years....saved, saved, saved, got the kids though college, saved, saved, saved - paid off the house and then save, save, save....and finally had enough to make this our dream someday retirement home. We still have a few more projects, but I need a long break from any more contractors. We just need to do the small bathroom downstairs and my husband is thinking of doing that himself.

Does anyone watch the house hunter shows...and how people complain of the bathrooms are too small or they need at least 3 or 4 bathrooms in the house or double sinks...yuk...who wants to clean 3 or 4 bathrooms....I am happy with just the two. I don't even want another shower to clean.

I agree with you. I'd be happy with 1 and a half baths total.

I watch the house hunter shows. Always amazed at what upgrades they want with their small budgets.
We have one bathroom and that is plenty for me to keep clean.
Your bathroom is beautiful. We have only dealt with a couple of contractors. First one was a liar, second one made everything right. We have done and redone our home several times over the years.
