Have you looked in the couch cushions? My Yorkie always hid his favorite toys there. He didn't want the other dogs playing with his toy. Couch cushions and under the bed blankets in the spare bedroom were his hiding places of choice.

My avitar is my little girl Lacybelle, she's a 7-lb toy poodle who, in her prior life, must have been a circus performer and/or diva. I've had other little poodles, but this 5-yr old baby is so smart it's scary. I cannot imagine life without a little dog.
Lacybelle is a cutie! Very prissy looking, glad she has attitude, my male does....the female is docile and easy going. (aka lazy)..lol

Yes, and boy my sofa needed cleaned out under the cushions, hadnt looked under there in a few months. No sign of duck duck yet. He's kind of forgotten it's lost for now. We arent reminding him.

When my Lacybelle wants attention, she takes her ball and shoves it under the sofa. Then I get up from what I'm doing, grab the yard stick and get it out and throw it. Needless to say I've created the little monster! One day I raised the sofa up and there was a dozen balls under it. I buy the little soft, balls in a pack so she always has one. I didn't know she was hiding them while I was at work. No wonder I could not find any!

I had two Yorkies also, SteveE and Beau, Beau's nickname was also Boo. I miss them ever so much. They grew old 15 and 17. They were much loved and much missed.
