This happened to me, my mother (now deceased) was listed as having money from an insurance policy. Being the only heir, I had to prove it, I got the money. Well worth the time spent doing it. So check it out people

Just don't fall for anyone wanting money to get you the info. All the info is FREE, anyone can access it. Just Google "unclaimed funds" and the state, every state (treasurer's office) has a website.

I found unclaimed money by using the link to my state after seeing a story on good morning america. We recently got a check for almost $500. Well worth the time!

My SIL called my husband and said she saw his name on an unclaimed money site. He check into it and got back money that he had over paid on a credit card several years before. He hadn't had the card in years. It was something like $64.
