I'm so proud of being from North Carolina. A saying is, "Whether by birth or by adoption, A tarheel, I'll be, I choose this option." It's chucked full of great history, wonderful people and a variety vacation land. Weather changes constantly and never terribly hot nor terribly cold for more than three of four days at a go. I wouldn't want to be anywhere else, even though I've lived halfway around the world and was born else where, I'm proud to call the "good old north state" my home. Ruth

Say what? Haven't found any good guys in Illinois.

No. Can't say that I am proud to have 1 former governor in jail, the gov that followed him on his way to jail after appeals end, and the one in office now raised taxes so high that the Gov's of neighboring states came to visit Il businesses in droves to invite them to move there (WI was one of them).

Not proud of my governor, but I am proud of my state, Indiana. All our good guys are in Illinois right now too! I am very proud of those guys for standing up for Hoosier workers!

I am very proud to be a West Virginian. We may be little, poor and made fun of but you can't find a prettier state or nicer people. Now, if we could just keep MTR from leveling all our mountains we'd be in good shape. :)

I have lived in many places (Massachusetts, East Tennessee, South Carolina, North Carolina, West Virginia, California) and now I make my home in the most beautiful state I have ever see, Washington...and thats saying a lot because the Berkshires, the Smokies, the Carolina coast and the Mountains of WV are all just beautiful.

I'm proud of TEXAS. I wasn't born here, but got here as fast as I could. Been here 45 years.

I LOVE Wisconsin, but right now the government here is going nuts. All a politcal mess so I wont go into it here, but I wish we could all just pull together here and agree on something!
Its a beautiful, clean state though!
