Kinda makes me wish I was from Texas! I am from OHio, I think they make jokes about us southern Oh people. I get made fun of for my ways of speaking quite often but I am proud to be a country girl and that is a fact !

I'm proud of Michigan-surrounded by 4 of the Great Lakes, lots of beautiful farmland, woodland, etc. -Michigan isn't just Detroit!

Well the state of IL is not doing too well. Two of our former gov., have been sent to prison and we are about to send a third. Blago has by far created the biggest stain, one conviction , waiting trial on 19 more charges.... a dismal attempt on the Celebrity Apprentice.... He made us one of the biggest political jokes. Amazing what the mis-deeds of one man can do !

Proud of Jersey, we're not all Sopranos, rich housewives, trashy summer shore people and ugly oil tanks, it's a beautiful garden state, great fresh produce - nothing like a Jersey beefsteak tomato and Silver Queen white corn it August. Home to some of the best colleges in the country and lots of hardworking people trying to get along, even with the highest property taxes in the country. Just glad we're healthy and happy wherever we live. May in Jersey

That only a few, I bet the rest are wonderful. Look at the heart of the many not just the few.

I was born, raised, and lived most of my life in Oregon. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else. We have so very much here, except good politicians. I live in Central Oregon, called the High Desert. I am 30 minutes away from a world class ski resort. In the summer there are mountains and lakes to explore. We also live 3 hours from the Pacific Ocean, 2 hours from the Columbia River with world class wind surfing. There is Ashland with the Shakespearian Festival, Portland with concerts and everything a large city has to offer. We also have great universities here GO DUCKS!!! Oregon has it all.

I love Texas - where you do have to ask for unsweet tea because the sweet tea will give you a 4-hour sugar buzz and we keep our weird folks colonized in one particular city (and love them for the weirdness)...
