Fudge and a chocolate covered toffee are favorites in my family. However, Christmas would not be the same if we didn't also make a batch of my grandmother's sugar cookies!

Mine would be just my regular chocolate chip cookies that my kids love.

I used to make a soft molasses cookie that my Granny made but no one else likes them in my family.

I also used to make a thing called "Butter Letter" but now can't find any Almond paste to use. It takes a full pound of the almond paste.

With it just the two of us, I won't be making much this year.

My twenty something year old boys always request puppy chow. I have to say it's very easy and tasty. I always make spritz cookies, apple pie, pumpkin pie and sometimes a birthday cake for hubby's Christmas birthday. Some years he doesn't want one. But his favorite is German Chocolate.
