The "Great White North"
#1
I live and quilt in the "Great White North" of north central NY state where we receive 150 to 200 inches of snowfall each winter thanks to "lake effect" snow. My passions are my dogs (currently 2 black Labs, 1 Saint Bernard), quilting, beadwork (jewelry & beaded art dolls), dolls, knitting, reading and cross stitch (not always in that order).
I try to devote some of my time and quilting skills to benefit my favorite charity: German Shepherd Rescue organizations. My logo is a design for a charity quilt design I make only on special occasions for German Shepherd rescue (last auction price of one was $127 for the 20" square quilt).
Some of my designs were published in quilting magazines between 2001 and 2003; I stopped designing for magazines in 2004 to move onto other things.

Waving from hot and humid Florida! Welcome to the board - the best place to get help, give help, listen, talk, and see the best eye-candy! A word of warning...if you see posts from Ditter, don't drink anything while you are reading because you just may shower your computer!
I have rescued 2 GSDs...miss them both as they are playing together in distant fields...

Welcome from New Hampshire
Until it got too expensive I used to go to Quilting by the Lake, first in Caz and then Morrisville. I think after Marti sold to a Museum it's moved again.
Loved Caz, but Morrisville College had more A/C and it was always sweltering during the 2 weeks of Camp
