    Welcome from Northern California!!!

If Grandma Moses could start painting at 80, I don't see why you can't start quilting!

Too late?!! Never!! It's a great time. Your priorities are in place and you can devote as much time as you want to it. So pick up a piece of fabric and start quilting. Welcome from South Louisiana.

Someone needs to quilt in California. They actually need to quilt California so that the stitches will keep it from dropping into the ocean. Mke those stitches strong and enjoy your newest endeavor. I can read the headlines now,"Amazing quilter saves California from dropping in to oblivion. She stitched California so well it was just to stron g to disappear into the ocean or fissor. I'm new to this site, too. I am"stitches2u" also kinown as Linda(from Metro Atlanta.) Enjoy and don 't worry about what someone else thinks about your work. To your family and friends they will be heirlooms.
