    Good beginner Quilting book is Better Homes and Gardens Quilting. You can get it at JoAnns or Amazon. It is the book I use to teach the biginner classes.

    That is true! I have been enjoying it. Have you had any problems with rayon thread shredding or breaking in it? It seems as though polyester is fine, but the rayon is giving me issues.
